Dunia Jelinska
Coordinator, Women Help Women International Foundation
Dunia Jelinska (she/her) is an abortion activist and regional service coordinator for Women Help Women International Foundation. She is on a mission to fight for the de-stigmatization and de-medicalization of abortion, promoting the self-managed pharmacological method.
Dunia has 20 years experience as tele-medicine abortion service coordinator. She began her pro-abortion activism in 2005 by joining the newly opened Women on Web, an online abortion pill provision service, as a counselor and then coordinator. In 2014, she was part of the team that launched the Women Help Women International Foundation. She coordinates its service in Poland and Italy, bringing abortion pills directly into the hands of people who need them. She’s also works with Abortion Without Borders network, helping Polish and European people to get access abortion. She is also a trainer and a promoter of the idea of complete liberalization and decriminalization of abortion.
Dunia is based between Naples, Italy and Warsaw, Poland.
