Joycelyn Ghansah

Joycelyn Ghansah (she/her) is a health writer. She is on a mission to develop sexual and reproductive health content that educates the public and ensures individuals who feel underrepresented in these discussions see themselves reflected in the conversation.
Joycelyn has over six years of experience in health content production, specializing in reproductive care, mental health, chronic conditions and healthcare recruitment. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a master's in social justice and human rights from Prescott College, and a public health degree from Oklahoma State University. In 2018, she presented her research on sexual initiation behaviors and consent among college students at American Public Health Association (APHA) and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) conferences. Joycelyn is dedicated to creating empowering and educational healthcare content.
